Earlier this week, some states enacted mandatory quarantine orders for health care workers who are returning from Ebola-stricken countries.
Many people in the medical world are very upset about it. They say these quarantine orders deter people from going to West Africa and helping to fight the deadly disease.
But others say, so what?! On HLN Now's Facebook page, many viewers want to ban people from coming from West Africa altogether.
Dr. Celine Gounder, an infectious disease and public health specialist, says we can't just ignore the Ebola problem.
In other words, if we don't try to stop Ebola in West Africa, it's similar to ignoring a kitchen fire and letting your house burn down.
