Today's must-see, must-share stories as seen on Morning Express with Robin Meade:
Carla Hall, of ABC’s The Chew, helped kick off Oprah’s The Life You Want Weekend by leading a panel discussion that offered participants tips on how to live the best possible life on Friday morning in Atlanta, Georgia. The event took place at 'O Town’, a pop-up town square, as part of the weekend experience with music, makeovers, giveaways and other activities.
During the discussion, Hall spoke with business owner Nicole Jones and Karmatria Burton of Delta Airlines. The panelist discussed ways to discover one’s hidden potential and how to overcome obstacles.
Oprah took the stage later that night in an intimate one-woman show and shared stories of her own struggles.
“I want us all to fulfill our greatest potential,” Oprah said. “To find our calling, and summon the courage to live it.”
The weekend tour wrapped up Saturday with a day-long gathering attended by thousands. Attendees heard from best-selling authors Elizabeth Gilbert, Deepak Chopra, Rob Bell, Mark Neop and Iyanla Vanzant. Talk about inspiring!
Oprah’s The Life You Want Weekend hits seven more cities over the next several weeks.
The tour ends November 15 in San Jose, CA.
