Tired of your kids ignoring your texts and phone calls? Then you can probably sympathize with a fed-up Texas mom who decided to develop an app that would lock her kid's phone at will.
It's called "Ignore No More" and, in order to get the unlock code, kids have to make contact with their parents.
Otherwise, "It takes away texting, it takes away gaming, it takes away calling their friends, surfing the Internet," app creator Sharon Standifird explained to CNN affiliate KTRK. The phone is still able to dial 911 in case of an emergency.
Standifird's son, Bradley, had this to say about the app: "Well, I thought it was a good idea -- but for other people, not me."
The mom said the app is definitely working for her.
"He responds to my texts and my calls a whole lot quicker than he used to," she said.
Would you use this app with your kids?
