Attorney: Michael Brown's family wants answers

  • Violence erupts for a second night following the death of a teenager shot by a police officer
  • A friend says Michael Brown, 18, was unarmed when he was shot by a Missouri policeman
  • Plans to release the officer’s name were cancelled, after threats triggered fears for his safety

Peaceful protests gave way to violence for the second night Monday in Ferguson, Missouri, following the Saturday shooting death of 18-year-old Michael Brown.

Police used tear gas and other non-lethal weapons to try to disperse crowds protesting the fact that Brown was apparently unarmed at the time he was shot and killed by a local policeman.

Benjamin Crump, the attorney for Brown's family, told HLN's Nancy Grace the boy's family is desperate for answers.
