$1 million of goods stolen from a... closet?

  • Someone stole an estimated $1 million worth of goods from Theresa Roemer's closet, according to KHOU
  • The 3-story closet was loaded with jewelry, bags and clothing
  • Authorities do not have a suspect yet

People may joke about wanting to "raid your closet," but that phrase has taken on a new meaning for Texas businesswoman Theresa Roemer.

Someone broke into Roemer's lavish three-story closet on Friday and stole an estimated $1 million worth of jewelry, luggage and family heirlooms, police say.

According to CNN affiliate KHOU, Roemer has hosted several charity events in her 3,000 square-foot closet for various organizations.

Authorities say that the burglar broke into Roemer's home through a bathroom window and headed straight for the infamous closet. Security cameras recorded the break-in, but the burglar was fully covered from head to toe for the heist.

Police are working to identify the suspect.
