Nearly every weekend, children in Chicago are being shot and often killed - caught in the cross-fire of gang violence. The numbers are shocking. Since the beginning of summer, 11 children (under 18 years old) have died from gunfire in Chicago. The July 4th weekend was particularly bad: at least 60 people were shot, 9 were killed.
