There are new twists and turns in the hot car death investigation as Leanna Harris hires an attorney and Home Depot announces Justin Ross Harris' termination from his job in web development.
According to Catherine Woodling, Mgr Corp. Communications with The Home Depot, Justin Ross Harris was has been terminated from the company. He was working as a web developer at a Home Depot corporate office when he left his son strapped into his car seat in his car.
He is accused of intentionally leaving his 22-month-old Cooper in a hot car to die. He claims it was an accident.
Leanna Harris came under scrutiny after a probable cause hearing in the case. Many critics questioned her lack of emotion and responses to finding out her young son had died. It was announced Thursday that Leanna hired criminal defense attorney Lawrence Zimmerman.
Justin Ross Harris is charged with felony murder and second-degree child cruelty. He is being held without bond at Cobb County Jail. Leanna Harris has not been named a suspect in the case.
