There are shocking new allegations surrounding the death of Cooper Harris, the toddler who was found dead in his car seat last week.

CNN affiliate WSB reports Cooper's father, 33-year-old Justin Ross Harris, knew his son was trapped in the back seat of his car.

Harris told police he forgot to drop his 22-month-old son off at day care, accidentally leaving the boy in the hot car all day.

WSB also reports cops have evidence that this dad is lying.

Harris has now been charged with felony murder and cruelty to children. He is being held without bond in Cobb County Jail.
