Watch: Bizarre walking statue turning heads

  • Some in the Hamptons question whether 30-foot statue is art
  • Many can't tell what it's supposed to be -- others love it

A 30-foot aluminum statue in the Hamptons is getting a lot of attention. CNN affiliate News 12 Long Island reports that "Walking Figure" was designed by Manhattan-based artist Donald Baechler and is supposed to represent forward motion, but many are left scratching their heads. The developer of the business park in Westhampton Beach tells News 12 Long Island that they aren't trying to create a controversial piece of art, but they welcome all discussion. What do you think?
