Free guide could keep you from being old and poor

  • William J. Bernstein has written a free retirement pamphlet for Millennials
  • 'If You Can' is blowing up online
  • Author says guide is written for younger people because 'there's still hope for them.'

HLN's Jennifer Westhoven reports on a "snappy," free, retirement guide that was "blowing up" the New York Times website over the weekend.

It's called "If You Can" and it's available for free from author William J. Bernstein who normally gets paid to advise millionaire clients on their investments. But  this guide is targeted at Millennials who aren't yet in that tax bracket.

Why something for young people? Bernstein says, "There is still hope for them" when it comes to saving for retirement.

You can download "If You Can" for free from Bernstein's website: Efficient Frontier.
