Norm Lewis is a Tony-nominated actor who will make history this month. He’ll become the first African-American to play the role of the “Phantom” in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s famed musical on Broadway. For Lewis, the role is a dream come true.

He’s no stranger to the Broadway stage. He’s had starring roles in “Miss Saigon,” “Les Miserables,” “The Little Mermaid,” and “Porgy and Bess.”

Lewis recently took Lynn Berry backstage as he prepares for the starring role.
