Earth Day craft: Soda can stars!

NEED TO KNOW
  • April 22 is Earth Day!
  • Celebrate by making a recycled craft

Once you're done taking a #GlobalSelfie for NASA, you can make a recycled craft to celebrate Earth Day!

Here are six easy steps to make soda can stars!

Step 1: Wash out an empty soda can.

Step 2: Use scissors to cut the top and bottom off the soda can. (Be careful! The edges can be pointy.)

Step 3: Draw a star onto the tin.

Step 4: Cut the star out.

Step 5: Being careful once again, fold each point of the star in half so that the star becomes 3-D.

Step 6: Use a needle and thread to connect multiple stars together to make a decorative window hanger.
