Web Extra: Jaleel White on Dunn verdict

Actor and writer Jaleel White told HLN's Nancy Grace Monday that there is "a certain amount of miscarriage of justice" in the outcome of Michael Dunn's trial.

"Justice is not handed out straight anymore," White said. "It always comes with a side of something."

Dunn was convicted on three counts of attempted second-degree murder and one count of shooting a deadly missile, but the jury failed to reach a verdict on the murder charge for the death of 17-year-old Jordan Davis.

Prosecutors must now decide whether to retry the murder case.

"I don't understand how this 'self-defense' defense can always be invoked when only one person has a gun," White said.
