  • Video of R.J. celebrating his Auburn tix went viral this week

A video showing 11-year-old R.J. Myer of Prattville, Alabama, losing his mind when he discovers that Santa left him tickets to the BCS national championship game went viral in a matter of hours on Christmas Day. More than a day later, the little Auburn fan is still on cloud nine. He and his dad spoke to HLN Friday about the awesome gift.

R.J. said Santa actually left a note alongside the tickets. “It says ‘Always believe.’ I think what he meant by that is that you should always believe that anything is possible,” he said. The pair will attend the Rose Bowl on January 6 in Pasadena, California, as their beloved Auburn Tigers take on the Florida State Seminoles for college football's top prize.

“When I found out I was going to the national championship I figured I better be on my very best behavior. So, I was trying my hardest,” R.J. said.
