Black female comedian talks about SNL tryout

  • Saturday Night live has been holding auditions for black female comedians
  • SNL said on air last month it needed more black, female cast members

Over 39 seasons, Saturday Night Live has only had four black female cast members -- and only two, Ellen Cleghorne and Maya Rudolph, have lasted more than a year. But that could changes soon.

Earlier this month, SNL producers held tryouts on both coasts. Comedienne Tiffany Haddish, who auditioned in Los Angeles, joined the HLN News Now team to talk about her experience.
