We're thankful for Brett Eldredge!

  • The country music star is having a big year; including a tour with Taylor Swift
  • His gig this Thanksgiving is a dream come true

So, how was your 2013? Country star Brett Eldredge had one for the books: he scored his first #1 song (the super-catchy "Don't Ya"), an American Country Music Association Award nomination, and a hit album.

But a big highlight was touring with Taylor Swift. "Taylor is so down to earth," Eldredge tells Showbiz Tonight "She tells these true stories [in her songs] and she's not afraid of that. And I learn so much from her through that and how much her fans love her."

Eldredge has absolutely no problem with Swift's penchant for writing songs about boys ("I would love to be in a Taylor Swift song," he says slyly.) And his great year just got better: he's participating in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. What does he think about his new holiday gig? Watch Showbiz Tonight at 11 p.m. ET/PT.
