For his upcoming new variety special, John Rich is taking a cue from another country star, Hank Williams Jr., and having all his rowdy friends come over tonight!
On "Rich at Night," Rich (a former "Celebrity Apprentice" winner and one-half of the country music duo Big & Rich) interviews stars, performs, and jokes around with the audience in a bar he keeps in his Nashville home. But by "bar," we don't mean a keg and a couple of stools in some basement. We're talking about a fully-stocked bar, complete with stage, that appears twice the size of your average watering hole.
"This is middle America entertainment," Rich tells Showbiz Tonight about his special, which debuts Monday on TVGN. "To bring something out of Nashville right at America, right at the people who work hard and play harder, man, that's what this is about."
For more on Rich's new show (and to see a 'mancave' so awesome it made our host, A.J. Hammer, nearly drool with envy,) watch Showbiz Tonight at 11 p.m. ET/PT only on HLN!
