Experts can't determine MacNeill manner of death

  • Prosecution expert certain Michele MacNeill drowned, unable to say if death was homicide
  • Dr. Joshua Perper testified death had 'lot of suspicious elements'
  • Perper listed manner of death as 'undetermined'

In court Friday at Martin MacNeill's trial, prosecution expert Dr. Joshua Perper explained to jurors why he concluded that Michele MacNeill's cause of death was drowning.

While Perper felt there were "a lot of suspicious elements" in Michele's death, like other experts he was unable determine with certainty that her death was a homicide.
