He's called "Cedric the Entertainer" but you might as well call him "Cedric the Marathon Man." Cedric, the new host of "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire," is working at a sprinter's pace right now, taping five episodes a day of the syndicated game show. As part of Showbiz Tonight's "Game Show Madness" week, A.J. Hammer stopped by "Millionaire's" studio in New York to spend some time with Cedric and find out what he thinks of his new gig.
"This is great," Cedric told us. "As a standup to be able to have the opportunity to interact with a live audience... it's fun, man. I'm having a great time with this. This is a good job."
As we saw during our time with him, Cedric barely had time to sit still during this long workday. He was taping multiple episodes, including a special "Celebrity Week" segment with a special guest star (we talked to her too). And even though Cedric is already a millionaire -- his three-year hosting deal is said to be in the multi-millions -- we put him in the "Millionaire" hotseat and had him answer trivia questions about his show. How did he do? Watch the clip above to find out.
