Mother linked to Georgia kidnapping suspect

  • Police: Suspect & mom of recovered 14-year-old both arrested in 2012 drug bust
  • Police still looking for men who broke into the house, snatched

A 14-year-old girl taken during a home invasion has been found, but her kidnapping may not have been random.

Police say there's a connection between the girl's mom and one of the suspects.

Ayvani Perez's mother, Maria Corral, told police that two men broke into their home, demanded money and jewelry, and ended up kidnapping her daughter.

Police say Corral and one man in custody, Juan Alberto Contreras-Rodriguez, were arrested in the same drug bust last year.

He's not accused of being one of the home invaders -- police are still looking for those men.

The drug charges against Corral were eventually dropped.
