Jennifer Mee made headlines several years ago when she suffered an extended, incurable bout of hiccups.
Mee suffered from the malady for several weeks in 2007, earning media attention and the nickname "Hiccup Girl." Now she's back in the headlines -- facing a charge of first-degree murder.
Mee is accused of luring a man to a rendezvous, where he was attacked and shot to death. One of her alleged accomplices has been convicted and sentenced to prison for life.
If she's convicted, Mee could face the rest of her own life behind bars.
HLN's Mike Galanos takes a look back at this bizarre case.
