The remains of missing 18-month-old Elaina Steinfurth were found near the Toledo, Ohio, home where she was last seen alive on June 2. The remains were discovered in a box in the detached garage of the home belonging to Julie King. King is the mother of Steven King -- baby Elaina's mother's ex-boyfriend.

No charges have been filed in the death of the toddler, but her mother, Angela Steinfurth, and her mother's ex-boyfriend, Steven King, are both facing charges on obstruction of justice. King is accused of making false statements to investigators and his trial is set to begin October 7.
Details surrounding what exactly happened to little Elaina remain unknown. Family members and friends close to the case have spoken out about their theories regarding Elaina's death, but the cause of death has not yet been confirmed.
