Dennis the diplomat?

  • Former NBA star Dennis Rodman opens up about his second visit to North Korea
  • Rodman is the only American known to have met Kim Jung Un since he became leader of North Korea
  • Rodman reveals plans to take former NBA players to North Korea to play a basketball game

There were stunning new revelations on Monday from former NBA player Dennis Rodman.  On the heels of his second trip to North Korea, Rodman reveals that he now has plans to take a yet-to-be-assembled team of former NBA players to North Korea to play a game. Can Rodman really become a legitimate diplomat and make a difference?

“This is exactly what Kim Jung Un wants.  He wants to pretend that he’s a great father.  A great leader" Inside Edition correspondent Megan Alexander tells Showbiz Tonight.  “Dennis Rodman needs to see the starving children, see the families that have been broken apart between North and South Korea. There is rampant starvation in North Korea.  All celebrities need to really research the causes that they’ve involved in.  And I don’t think Dennis Rodman has really done his homework.”

Find out more about Rodman's plans tonight at 11 p.m. ET/PT on Showbiz Tonight.
