George Zimmerman: Show me the money!

  • George Zimmerman is seeking to recoup some of the costs of his murder trial
  • Florida law lets people be reimbursed for certain fees if they're acquitted

George Zimmerman's lawyers say they'll seek reimbursement from the state of Florida for some of the costs of Zimmerman's murder trial. In July, Zimmerman was acquitted of second-degree murder in the 2012 shooting death of Trayvon Martin. Florida law allows acquitted suspects to ask a judge for reimbursement for certain legal costs.

Meanwhile, George Zimmerman's wife Shellie is facing her own legal troubles. She's charged with perjury for allegedly lying about their financial situation during Zimmerman's first bond hearing back in 2012.
