Friends, family and loved ones packed a California church Saturday to remember Hannah Anderson's mother and eight-year-old brother. The pair were killed by family friend Jim DiMaggio before he kidnapped 16-year-old Hannah.
Family members remembered Christina and Ethan fondly. Anderson's great uncle David Braun described Ethan as "handsome, full of spirit and loved football" and Christina as a "devoted mother."
Hannah sat in the front row for the service. Her grandmother, Sarah Britt says she will raise the teen-- noting that Hannah remained very strong during the ceremony. She added that the memorial service was a chance to celebrate her daughter and grandson. "We had to put our grief aside for this day. It was very uplifting. My daughter would have thoroughly loved it."
More than a week after an Amber Alert was issued for Hannah, FBI agents shot and killed DiMaggio. He and Anderson were spotted by horseback riders in Idaho.
