On Tuesday, Joshua Gouker’s fellow inmates took the stand saying that the convicted murderer made statements to them incriminating his son Joshua Young in Trey Zwicker’s 2011 beating death.
Gouker, Zwicker’s stepfather, said Young was the killer in one of his initial statements two years ago. He later explained that if his son, who was 15 at the time of the Zwicker’s death, took the blame as a minor, Young would have probably gotten a lesser sentence. Young is currently charged with complicity to murder and complicity to tampering with evidence in the case.
Gouker testified this week about whether his son had anything to do with the murder. Zwicker’s father, Terry, heard the testimony and told HLN’s Dr. Drew Tuesday night his thoughts and theory of what happened that fateful night.
