Zimmerman: That doesn't even sound like me

  • Zimmerman claims he shot Trayvon Martin in self-defense
  • George Zimmerman is charged with second-degree murder

In the background of one neighbor’s 911 calls, someone can be heard screaming. But the FBI experts say it is impossible to tell from the recording who is screaming.  Cops questioned Zimmerman about those screams and he told investigators, “that doesn’t even sound like me.”

Zimmerman, a former neighborhood watch captain, is charged with second-degree murder for shooting 17-year-old Martin on February 26, 2012. He told police he was pursuing Martin because there had been a rash of crime in the area. A conflict ensued, and Zimmerman said he was forced to kill Martin in self-defense.
