Cirque du Soleil performer dies during show

  • Sarah Guillot-Guyard, 31, died from injuries suffered in fall
  • Many in audience thought it was part of the show

The audience at a "Cirque du Soleil" show in Las Vegas was confused when an acrobat fell 50 feet during a performance, but it wasn't part of the act.

Sarah Guillot-Guyard, 31, died from injuries suffered from her fall.

Some people said they thought the accident was part of the "Ka" show at the MGM Grand. Ten minutes after the accident, the show was stopped and the audience was ushered out.

The show has been canceled indefinitely.
