Audio expert Tom Owen was banned from testifying in the George Zimmerman trial, but he spoke with HLN’s Nancy Grace Thursday night about his analysis of the screams for help heard on the 911 call.
Using three different technologies, Owens told Grace he concluded it was not Zimmerman screaming, “Help, help me,” on the audio recording.
“I took George Zimmerman's reenactment that he did where he said the same words that are on the tape, and I elevated the pitch to the level of the screams, and I ran them against each other,” Owen explained. “They all come up as George Zimmerman except the screams. I can scientifically show that it's not George Zimmerman.”
While Owen says he was able to rule Zimmerman out, he was not able to determine if it was Trayvon Martin screaming for help on the call that night.
