Rachael Jeantel, the prosecution’s star witness, testified Wednesday in the George Zimmerman trial.
She spoke to Trayvon Martin on the phone just moments before he was shot and killed.
But was what she stated in her deposition and what she said in court consistent? HLN’s Dr. Drew and his special guests discuss the matter.
Zimmerman, a former neighborhood watch captain, is charged with second-degree murder for shooting 17-year-old Martin last year. He told authorities that he was pursuing Martin because of the rash of crimes in the area. Zimmerman said he was forced to kill Martin in self-defense after a confrontation between the two.
