Martin family atty: Trayvon could not outrun a bullet

  • George Zimmerman is charged with second-degree murder for killing 17-year-old Trayvon Martin
  • Zimmerman's friend, Trayvon family attorney fight over what happened the night Trayvon was shot & killed

An attorney for Trayvon Martin’s family had words for a close friend of George Zimmerman Wednesday night on Nancy Grace, after Frank Taaffe claimed Martin made it all the way back to the home he where he was staying, then turned back around to follow Zimmerman before he was shot and killed.

“Does anyone say that Trayvon went into the home, then came back to chase Zimmerman?” Grace asked Jasmine Rand, an attorney for Martin’s family.

“Mr. Taaffe is the only person that I’ve heard allude to the fact that Trayvon Martin went into the home. There’s absolutely no evidence that Trayvon Martin went into the home. And I’d like to point out to Mr. Taaffe that no matter how fast Trayvon Martin could run, Trayvon could not outrun a bullet,” Rand said.
