Jovial Jodi? Arias laughs as jurors decide her fate

  • Jurors are deciding whether to give Jodi Arias the death penalty or life in prison

  • She was observed smiling and laughing in the courtroom on Wednesday

Jodi Arias seemed to let loose a little bit Wednesday, laughing with a deputy after jurors were dismissed from the courtroom. The jury is currently deciding whether Arias should get life in prison or the death penalty. The judge had called them into the courtroom to give them a jury instruction that was inadvertently omitted on Tuesday.

Arias has been convicted of first-degree murder for killing her ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander. In a 19-minute statement on Tuesday, Arias asked jurors not to give her the death penalty.
