Watch: Jodi Arias unveils 'Survivor' t-shirt to jury

  • Jodi Arias showed jury domestic violence shirt she designed
  • 'Some people may not believe I'm a survivor of domestic violence,' she says as she addresses jurors

In her last chance to avoid the death penalty for the murder of her ex-boyfriend, Jodi Arias pleaded for her life Tuesday in front of a jury.

One of the most memorable moments during the statement came when she pulled out a T-shirt she designed for domestic violence charities. "Some people may not believe I'm a survivor of domestic violence, they are entitled to their opinion," she said. "I'm supporting this cause because it's very, very, important to me."

In her statement, she asked the jury to spare her life for her family's sake. She also said that if she served a life sentence, she would help other inmates with literacy and a recycling program.
