Jodi Arias asked the jury, in a 19-minute speech, to spare her life Tuesday.

Following Arias' statement, defense attorney Jennifer Wilmott explained to the jury during closing arguments that the decision of giving Jodi Arias life or death is a personal one that each juror should make on his or her own.

Wilmott explained how the jury should consider the mitigating factors. For example, if a juror believes the fact that Jodi was only 27 years old at the time of the murder is enough to spare her life, then he or she must vote for life.
