O.J. Simpson says he wants a new trial for his 2008 convictions for robbery and kidnapping because his lawyer gave him bad advice.

On the witness stand Wednesday, he said he had been drinking for 45 minutes at a hotel bar and wouldn't have been able to drive a car because he was under the influence.
