Caryn Kelley is accused of killing her boyfriend Phillip Peatross at her College Park, FL home on July 27, 2011.

When police arrived at the scene after Kelley's frantic phone call, they found Peatross dead on the bedroom floor with a single gunshot wound to his face. But it remains unclear exactly what occurred in this incident.

In this video clip, Kelley’s attorney Diana Tennis defends her client, telling Dr. Drew her version of events the night of Peatross’ death.

Kelley is charged with manslaughter. Opening statements are scheduled for May 20, 2013.
