Defense attorney Kirk Nurmi kicked off his closing argument in the Jodi Arias trial Friday by making a surprising admission: Not even he likes his client.

He threw that zinger out there to try to get the jury to focus on what he says are gaping holes in the prosecution's case. He said the case is not about emotions, but about the prosecution's implausible story.

His words elicited a little smile from Arias -- and a quick objection from prosecutor Juan Martinez.
