Martinez’s closing: Arias 'staged the scene' with lies

  • Prosecutor Juan Martinez began his closing arguments Thursday afternoon
  • He claims defendant Jodi Arias won't let victim 'rest in peace'

With the dramatic conclusion of the Jodi Arias trial underway Thursday, prosecutor Juan Martinez began his closing arguments by saying that Jodi Arias "will not let [Travis Alexander] rest in peace." He said that, just like using the knife and gun, Arias used "lies" to attack Alexander.

Martinez hammered on Arias' story, repeating the phrase "It's not her fault."

Martinez then called for the jury to shine "the light on the truth" of the case.
