It is hard to pick up a tabloid magazine these days without seeing Kim Kardashian’s pregnancy weight and maternity style being criticized on the cover. One person coming to the expectant mom’s defense? Her trainer, Tracy Anderson.
Anderson has been training A-listers for years, whipping into shape everyone from Gwyneth Paltrow to Victoria Beckham, so she knows a thing or two about getting a star red-carpet ready. But when it comes to training Kardashian, Anderson says her biggest piece of advice has been to take it easy.
“I am constantly telling her, 'Relax, your body is meant to grow right now; you are bringing another human being into this world,” Anderson tells Showbiz Tonight at the Time 100 event in New York City.
As for those tabloids that have been unmerciful in their coverage of Kardashian's pregnancy weight, Anderson says, "I think it's really tragic… you know it's very difficult when you catch wind that somebody's saying something untrue or unfair about you, it's hard to not hear it or be exposed to it even if you are that person.”
Anderson says Kim has nothing to worry about post-pregnancy. The trainer says she will get Kim back to her pre-pregnancy body with “no problem.”
