11-year-old pens patriotic book on America

  • 11-year-old Abe Benkhaled and his dad wrote "The Greatest Country"
  • Abe and his father B.K. Bhutta stopped by Weekend Express to talk about the book

Abe Benkhaled may only be 11, but he's already done something most people only dream about: He's a published author!

Benkhaled, along with his dad B.K. Bhutta, wrote "The Greatest Country," a book filled with patriotic illustrations and reasons why it's great to live in America. It also pays homage to service members, honoring them for their service and sacrifice.

In light of the Boston Marathon bombings, the book's message seems especially powerful. Abe (and his dad) stopped by Weekend Express to talk about the children's book and why Abe wanted to write it in the first place!
