Bombing suspects' dad: 'Someone framed them'

  • Anzor Tsarnaev has harsh words for U.S. officers searching for son
  • 'Justice should decide who is right and who is guilty,' he says

The father of the two men suspected of planting bombs at Monday's Boston Marathon says his sons were "framed."

"Someone framed them. I don’t know exactly who did it, but someone did," said Anzor Tsarnaev in an interview Friday with Russian media. "Being cowards, they shot the boy dead," he said, referring to news about his other son, 26-year-old Tamerlan Tsarnaev, being killed after a confrontation with officers.

The elder Tsarnaev says he's shut off both his phones and cannot even get to his brother, who is a lawyer. Anzor Tsarnaev says he wants more information and believes his son, Dzhokar Tsarnaev, could be "shot dead, too." Watch as he explains why he believes his sons may not be guilty.
