NEED TO KNOW
  • Expert insists Jodi Arias was not a stalker
  • Former Manhattan assistant district attorney Joey Jackson discusses the case

Week 15 of the Jodi Arias just wrapped with defense domestic violence expert Alyce LaViolette on the stand again. LaViolette was grilled by prosecutor Juan Martinez about whether Arias stalked her ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander. The defense claims Alexander was abusive, controlling and a sexual deviant, but LaViolette insists Arias was far from a stalker.

Arias is on trial for the 2008 death of her ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander -- a killing she claims was in self-defense. However, prosecutors say Alexander's slaying was premeditated. Since the trial began weeks ago in Phoenix, Arizona, Arias has been on a roller coaster of emotions. We've watched as she's cried, described her sexual encounters with Alexander and even made playful comments.

Criminal defense attorney Joey Jackson stopped by Weekend Express to give us his take.
