The city of Arlington, Virginia, has put a plan to build several high-tech bus stops on hold.
Each "Super Stop" -- the first of which debuted in March -- would have heated floors, heated seats and a big-screen display to show when the next bus is due.
Sounds nice, but each "Super Stop" costs a whopping $1.1 million dollars. Many locals feel that's too much to spend on a bus stop -- especially one that, despite its other amenities, doesn't even offer commuters basic protection from wind and rain.
A city transit official tells CNN's Rene Marsh they are "evaluating" the "Super Stop" to look for ways to spend less on any future stops.
