Dr. Drew

Driven by current events, "Dr. Drew" on HLN focuses on the human - and human behavior - at the center of the story.

Could this explain Jodi's interrogation room antics?

  • Jodi Arias, on trial for the murder of her ex-boyfriend, claims self-defense
  • Alexander was stabbed 29 times, shot, throat slashed

When court is done for the day, the conversation is only just beginning. Watch "HLN After Dark: The Jodi Arias Trial" nightly at 10 p.m. on HLN.

Jodi Arias spent hours in an interrogation room in July of 2008 as authorities questioned her about the death of her ex-boyfriend Travis.

During that time, Arias was caught on camera doing such things as whipping her hair around, rubbing her cheeks and even performing a headstand.

On Tuesday night though, attorney Mark Eiglarsh told HLN's Dr. Drew that he believes there was a reason for that type of behavior.

"It's all about looking good for that glamour shot -- the one that she knows is going to be on the news for everyone to see."

Hear the full explanation in the video clip above.

Dr. Drew On Call airs Monday through Thursday on HLN at 9 p.m. ET.  Follow the show on Facebook and Twitter @DrDrewHLN.
