  • HLN's prosecution & defense teams argue both sides of the accusation in front of our in-studio jury & virtual jury at home

When court is done for the day, the conversation is only just beginning. Watch "HLN After Dark: The Jodi Arias Trial" nightly at 10 p.m. on HLN.

HLN’s new special series "HLN After Dark: The Jodi Arias Trial" takes you into the controversial topics of the Jodi Arias murder trial. Arias is accused of shooting her ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander in the face, stabbing him multiple times and slitting his throat from ear to ear.

Prosecution: Arias' story is 'ridiculous'

Tonight's Bold Accusation: Jodi brought the knife.

The story Arias has told about the gun and the knife have been questioned many times by both the prosecution and the jury. Arias claims she used Travis' own gun that she got off of a shelf in his closet, and she claims she used the knife that the couple had previously used during sexual activity that day.

The After Dark defense team argues it wouldn't make sense for Arias to bring, or need, a knife and a gun. Why would she need both? Criminal defense investigator Charles Mittelstadt and criminal defense attorney Joey Jackson present evidence to back up their argument that Jodi bringing the knife just doesn't make sense.
