2 teens arrested in Georgia baby killing

  • Police arrest teens, ages 14 and 17, on suspicion of first-degree murder in Georgia
  • Baby boy was shot and killed, mother shot in the leg

Police have arrested two teenagers in the shooting death of a 13-month-old baby in Brunswick, Georgia.

Sherry West says one of them shot and killed her baby boy during a robbery attempt. West was also shot in the leg. 

Police say the suspects are ages 17 and 14. No weapons have been recovered. There were no other witnesses, and police say they don't have a motive for the crime.

Police say they checked attendance records at local schools for students who were absent.
