Surfer: Jodi was becoming too aggressive

On Wednesday night, HLN’s Dr. Drew talked to two men who say that on at least two occasions, Jodi Arias invited herself on their surfing trips.

After explaining how Arias behaved in their presence, Zion Lovingier said, “[Travis] told people who were very close to him that he was working with counselors in his church to really let go of Jodi and to do what was healthy. He knew that he was behaving inconsistent with his values.”

He added, “[Travis] wanted to get rid of Jodi ... she was becoming continually more aggressive, particularly as he started to pull away.”

Arias claims she had to kill Alexander in self-defense in June of 2008 at his Mesa, Arizona home, even though she had given authorities other stories about the circumstances of his death. She faces the death penalty if convicted of first-degree murder.
