Pope Francis made his big debut with his inaugural Angelus prayer on Sunday. After conducting Mass inside the Vatican, the newly elected pope waved to big crowds at St. Peter's Square and even tweeted, "Dear friends, I thank you from my heart and I ask you to continue to pray for me."
The new pontiff gave the noon blessing from his apartment window and in a rare move, even greeted his supporters outside Sant'Anna Gate.
Dan Rivers joined Weekend Express from Rome Sunday. He described the crowd's excitement and the "rock star" greeting Pope Francis received. River says hundreds of thousands of people turned out for the first prayer.
