Activist: "This child could've been yours"

  • 6-month-old baby killed in Chicago gunfire
  • Activist started hotline to report gang problems
  • He's going door to door to find the child's killer

A 6-month-old baby was shot to death while her dad was changing her diaper. And no one is stepping up to talk about it.

Gang violence is nothing new in Chicago and activist Andrew Holmes wants to put a stop to it. He's set up his own hotline to report violence. The idea: people might feel more comfortable talking to him than the police.

A shooting victim himself, Holmes says enough is enough. And he's going door to door to find little Jonylah Watkins' killer.

More than 500 people were murdered in Chicago last year alone.
