  • Ban on sugary drinks over 16 ounces at restaurants starts Tuesday
  • Some coffee drinks also affected
  • City says it won't enforce ban for three months

Grab a giant soda and get ready: New York City's ban on sugary drinks goes into effect tomorrow.

UPDATE: Judge rules NYC soda ban illegal

That means restaurants aren't supposed to sell anything over 16 ounces unless it's sugar-free.

The city says it won't enforce violations for three months while restaurants adjust.

Some restaurants, beverage companies and others have already gone to court trying to stop the ban.
